The beginning
6S began the way many good builders do — on the supply side of the work.
Peter Zakhary entered the construction industry selling concrete and block to local builders, learning the trade from the ground up and from the people doing it.
He became a general contractor in 2004 and began building large custom homes, while remaining involved with a busy Central Florida concrete and block company.
During the economic downturn, the company expanded its scope into other construction needs — kitchens, bathrooms, renovations, repairs and handyman services — without changing what it expected of the work.
The philosophy stayed simple: quality, integrity, excellence and customer service.

Peter's experience spans the full range of home building and home improvement, and he stays personally involved with the people he builds for — from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.
What he enjoys most is the turn from idea to finished home: the moment a family walks through a space they described months earlier and recognizes it.
